Hyderabad: About 11 people died in Telangana due to continuous heavy rains. Out of which 9 people have died due to the wall that fell in Mohammadia Hills of Badlaguda.

At the same time, a 40-year-old woman and her 15-year-old daughter died in Ibrahimpatnam area after the roof of the old house collapsed.
Due to heavy rains on Tuesday, there were waterlogging on the roads and the water entered the houses. Not only this, Hyderabad is completely flooded. Somewhere the car was seen flowing in the water, somewhere the water was till the waist line , people were immersed in water.
Normal life has been disturbed on Tuesday due to heavy rains in various areas after which Osmania University Controller of Examinations said that, due to this heavy rain, all examinations of Osmania University scheduled on October 14th and 15th have been postponed.
The examinations will be held according to the timetable from 16th October. The schedule of postponed examinations will be communicated shortly.
Relief and rescue work is being done to deal with this disaster in other areas of Telangana including Hyderabad. The Chief Minister has asked all the district administration to be alert due to heavy rains in the state. In Hyderabad and many other areas, 20 cm of rain was recorded in the last 24 hours.
Hyderabad MP Asaduddin Owaisi tweeted this morning that, due to heavy rains here in the last two days, nine people died after the wall fell in Mohammadia Hills of Bandlaguda. He said that 9 people were killed and 2 injured when a private boundary wall fell.
During the inspection of the scene, I (Asaduddin Owaisi) gave a lift to the stranded bus passengers in Shahabad and now I am going towards Talabkatta and Yesrab Nagar.
