2,00,000 Students Opted for Examinations of Final Year at Pune University

Pune: As supreme court ordered to conduct the final year examinations, various universities including Savitribai Phule Pune University are going to conduct final year examinations online.

The exam will be in multiple choice format(MCQs) for online and even for offline mode of examinations. The university has also asked the students to opt for online examination to avoid the spread of Coronavirus.

Over 2 lakh students have filled the final examination form and out of these applications most of them have opted for online mode of examination.

Even out of the 1,85,000 students who have applied for the online examination, 1,10,000 will be answering the examination on their mobile phones, they chose mobile phones over laptops. The university has also given the option for offline examination for which 35,000 students have applied.

Those students who haven’t filled the form for which mode of examination they will be considered for offline examination.

Previously all the examinations were cancelled by the Government amid the Pandemic but later supreme court ordered that final year examinations should be taken. The students of 1st, 2nd, 3rd year will be passed based on their internals.
