New Delhi: Railways have decided to run 39 new special AV trains in view of the high demand during the festive season of Diwali . For which the Railway Board gave its approval on Wednesday.

Also, a list of these trains has also been released by the Ministry. According to the Railway Ministry, these trains will be run as a special service and their start date will be announced soon.
Out of 39 trains, 26 trains will be sleeper and 13 trains will have seating arrangement. Recently, Indian Railways had said that 200 special trains will be run between October 15th and November 30th in the festive season. These 39 trains can also be included in the same category.

On the other hand, IRCTC has announced the resumption of private ‘Tejas’ trains from October 17th. The Tejas trains were suspended from March 19 to Lucknow-New Delhi and Ahmedabad-Mumbai due to the Coronas epidemic.
However, IRCTC has issued guidelines for passengers and train staff regarding the re-operation of Tejas trains. Also, their booking will also be started soon.
