All the scientists are trying to control the Coronavirus. Simultaneously, scientists are developing a new therapy for influenza virus which is helpful in preventing coronavirus and Other infection. Scientists say that every year more than 20 lakh people in the US are admitted to the hospital due to flu. Out of that, between 30 and 80 thousand people die.
Philip S. Low of US-based Purdue University said, ‘We used all the antiviral drugs we had developed on infected cells. In this way we were successful in treating infected cells without harming healthy cells. We now use it to deliver immune-activating drugs to flu-infected cells. ‘

Low explained that this method could also prove effective in Covid-19 infected people. He said, ‘We started our test with influenza virus and our lab tests show that this procedure works even in mice infected with influenza who are 100 times more infected by the deadly dose of the virus. Said that this new therapy may also prove effective against other pathogenic virus infections such as hepatitis B, respiratory syncytial virus (RSV).
