A study claims that the Brahmaputra river is going to have a devastating flood again. This type of research has analyzed the river in the last 700 years.

According to a research paper published in a journal called ‘Nature Communication’, the flow of the river by two different names which is flowing in Bangladesh and India has increased.
According to experts at Columbia University, said that earlier estimates suggested that the major difference in river flow was based on the water level, which was calculated in the year 1950.
He analyzed the average flow of the river in north Bangladesh, which was a total of 41,000 cubic meters per second between 1956-1986 and the flow increased to a total of 43,000 cubic meters per second between 1987-2004.
There was a very devastating flood in Bangladesh in the year 1998, in which a total of 70% of the things were submerged. According to earlier review, in the last half of this century, every four and a half years of destructive flooding is expected.
