India News: Renowned gangster and once close aide of Dawood Ibrahim, gangster Chota Rajan is claimed to have died due to COVID-19. But, Delhi Police officials and AIIMS doctors clarify and denied false claims of Chota Rajan’s death due to COVID-19.

Chota Rajan was deported and extradited from Bali, Indonesia in the same year after being getting arrested by the Indonesian Police in October 2015. He has been in high security prison in Tihar Jail ever since. In 2018, Chota Rajan was convicted and sentenced to prison for life after murdering a journalist named Jyotirmoy Dey in 2011.

Born as Rajendra Nikhalje has 70 cases of murder and extortion upon him in Mumbai. All cases of his were transferred to CBI then. Due to his COVID-19 infection, he was not been able to be produced before court and has been produced on video sessions only ever since.
