Latest News: Anand Mahindra, the Chairman of Mahindra group, on Tuesday, tweeted a picture of his experience of a first ever virtual annual shareholders’ meeting, remarking that wearing a suit after months was the most difficult part of the whole exercise.
Replying on his tweet, a Twitter user suggested that he could have opted for a different attire and set a new corporate normal for web meets.

Following which, Mahindra replied that for his upcoming Mahindra & Mahindra Limited AGM, set to take place on August 7, he will “crowd-source” the decision for his dress code and decide what to wear on the basis of votes.
“My tweet about wearing a suit for the TechMahindra AGM provoked responses urging me to try a different dress code.
So given my delegatory style of management, I’m crowd-sourcing the decision about the dress code I should adopt for the forthcoming M&M Annual Shareholder Meeting,” Mahindra tweeted, updating an active poll, with four options to choose from that are “suit and tie”, “jacket+open-necked shirt”, “Jodhpuri suit” and Shirt and Bandi jacket that will go on his Twitter feed for the next two days.
The poll has received over 30,000 votes within three hours of posting it.
