Bengaluru: A Bengaluru-based makeup artist, Hitesha Chandranee who alleged that a Zomato delivery man had hit her after an argument pushed to file a police complaint on the delivery man. As police arrested the delivery man named Kamaraj, he spoke of his side on what really happened that day. This for the past week had been one of the trending stories in India for now.
After the public heard to the plea of Kamaraj, that he had no fault on his side many came forward in support of him online and offline as well. A couple of days back, Kamaraj pushed to press police complaint on Hitesha as well. And, as a follow up to the complaint, Electronic City police officials asked Hitesha to appear.
But it seems that Hitesha has already left the city to her aunt’s place in Maharashtra. So, the police said that they have given her time to appear as soon as possible to make her statement and will result in further problems if she refuses to do so. The police had a hard time finding out the truth as there was literally no nearby witnesses or CCTV to see what happened.
As soon as Hitesha posted a video on her Instagram handle, alleging the assault of the delivery man Zomato ensured to look into it and pay for her medical charges. On the other hand, as Kamaraj spoke for himself, the company also assured to cover the legal costs of Kamaraj. Few celebrities have also spoke about this issue to their audience online.
