The schools and colleges remained closed for more than 9 months amidcoronavirus. As the relaxations are increasing in the states the schools and colleges are also reopening but with strict Covid-19 rules and regulations.

The Delhi Government haven’t taken any decision on reopening of schools and colleges amid the on going coronavirus. The government is expected to reopen the schools and colleges only after the Coronavirus vaccine is made available to public.

Rajasthan Government has decided to reopen the schools and colleges from January 18th. On the other hand Medical Colleges, Dental Colleges etc. will reopen from Jan 11th.
The Government has announced that the schools of classes 10th to 12th will reopen from January 11th, along with colleges for the final year students and the post graduation students will also reopen from 11th January. However the attendance will not be mandatory and the Covid-19 rules will be strictly followed.
The government has decided to reopen all schools from January 7th for students of classes 5th to 12th.
State Education minister Vijay Inder Singla said the decision to reopen all government, semi-government and private schools from January 7th has been taken as per the suggestions from stakeholders. The timings of the schools will be from 10 AM to 3 PM.

The schools are partially reopened from 1st January from classes 10th to 12th with only limited number of hours and with limited number of students.
The Bihar Government has decided to reopen state government schools, colleges, universities and coaching institutes from January 4th. The government has also decided that the class from 9th onwards will be started with only 50% of the total capacity.
In Maharashtra around 15 lakh students from the classes 9th to 12th are currently attending the schools physically.
While the Karnataka government has reopened the schools from January 1st for classes 6th to 12th.
While in Haryana the government has decided to reopen the schools for students of classes 10th to 12th in December.
