Mumbai: Television’s popular comedy drama show ‘Tarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashma’, which has been ruling the hearts of people for 12 years, has completed 3000 thousand episodes on Thursday. Also, it has become the second highest episode airing show in the TV industry.The team of the show celebrated on this special occasion.
On this special occasion, actor Dilip Joshi, who played the role of ‘Jethalal’ in the show, has shared an emotional post on social media, thanking the fans.
Describing his feeling in the post, Dilip Joshi writes about how the ‘Tarak Mehta’ show changed his life. Dilip Joshi said that Jethalal’s role is not less than any of his gifts. “I’m lucky. I have Asit Bhai, a friend and an experienced producer, whom I trusted a lot and worked with before. Gave me a chance to play Jethalal, thank you, Asit Bhai.”
Further in the post, Dilip Joshi writes, ‘The look test happened fast, then a pilot test and finally on 28th July 2008 the first episode of the show aired on SAB TV. We were first shown the first glimpse of the Gokuldham Society. We had no idea at that time that this show would become more of a discovery than a journey ‘.
