Maharashtra’s Palghar was hit by an Earthquake today morning at around 8:07 am. The magnitude was about 3.5 according to National Center of Seismology.
According to the reports by the officials there were no Casualties and properties/ buildings were damaged during the Earthquake. The Earthquake was experienced in Paraswadi Area of Dahanu taluka, district disaster control cell chief Vivekanand Kadam said.

Last week, four mild earthquakes were recorded in the district on Friday and Saturday.
An earthquake of magnitude 2.7 on the Richter Scale occurred 98 km north of Mumbai at 6:36 am on Saturday, according to the National Centre for Seismology (NCS).
The first earthquake of 4.0 magnitude was felt in Dahanu tehsil at 11.41 pm, while the second one of 3.6 magnitude was recorded at 12.05 am in Talasari tehsil, chief of Palghar district disaster control cell Vivekanand Kadam said.
An official from Talasari police station said people ran out of their houses following the quake and remained out some time due to fear.
