Gadget Insights:PUBG Mobile that was banned in India for months is now all set to return as Battlegrounds Mobile in India. With the release of its new game poster, it was confirmed that the game will return, until which it was only rumours and speculations of the game’s return in the country.

Earlier this week a report said that PUBG Mobile will soon be back in the country as Battlegrounds Mobile and that was subsequently confirmed by the release of the teaser poster, although the launch timeline is not known much yet.
The new official poster reveals that the game is “coming soon”. It should be also noted that the social media handle of PUBG Mobile India was also changed to Battlegrounds Mobile India, while its Twitter handle remains the same.

Last week, PUBG Mobile India published a video in its YouTube page and had immediately taken it down by itself. The popular mobile game compatible both in iOS and Android was banned by the Government of India under Section 69A of Information and Technology Act of 2008 along with several other Chinese-owned or manufactured mobile applications.
Krafton Inc, the Seoul-based company that owns and operates PUBG Mobile worldwide, is in constant talks with the Government of India to try and re-publish the game in India. And, once again before bringing back the game into Indian markets, the company has to meet several concern and guidelines set up by the government.
At the time of launch of the new trailer for the game, PUBG expressed that user data and privacy are of utmost importance to them.
