On Sunday, Hardik Pandya said that left-arm fast bowler T Natarajan should have received the man of the match award. Australia gave India a target of 195 runs, which India achieved in 19.4 overs. Pandya scored an unbeaten 42 runs in 22 balls with three 4’s and two 6’s.

Hardik was Man of the Match for his innings but Pandya said that Natarajan should have received the award for taking 2 wickets for just 20 runs in 4 overs.
Pandya said that Australia batted brilliantly and we just had to be positive. I think Natarajan should have got the man of the match as the bowler struggle in Sydney but he performed well here.

Pandya also said that I always remember the time when we chase big goals, it helps. It is quite easy. I looked at the scoreboard and played my game accordingly.
I knew which bowler to target. I have been in this situation many times before and I learned from past mistakes. I play with confidence and I go with it but avoid overconfidence.
