India Meteorological Department (IMD) states that common life in Southern states is affected due to heavy rains. Severe Cyclonic storm Nivar hits Tamil Nadu coast on November 26th. After that it is assumed that this cyclone has the potential to give rise to another cyclone in the coming days.

Cyclones had created low pressure over the Bay of Bengal and were likely to bring heavy rains in four areas. Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Puducherry, Tamil Nadu and Kerala will receive heavy rains in the coming four days. States and related Ministries had a got alert on the same issue.
Also, IMD had predicted that this year winter is going too harsher. Delhi had the coldest November in 71 years. Temperature had gone down to 10.2 degree Celsius. Several parts of North India recorded a drop in temperature.

Rajasthan, Jammu and Kashmir recorded below the normal temperature. The IMD director had stated that North India would experience a harsh winter this year. Jammu and Kashmir had recorded less than 5 degree Celsius temperature in the last 3 days.
