New Delhi : While the active no. of cases in India is 1, 55,227, people cured of the disease amount to 1, 86,934, added the report.

Maharashtra accounts for the highest fatality amounting to 1,409 followed by Delhi at 437. While other states such as Tamil Nadu, Gujarat, Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Madhya Pradesh, West Bengal, Rajasthan, Karnataka and Telangana have recorded 49, 28, 18, 11, 10, 7, 5 and 4 deaths respectively.
States such as Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Jammu and Kashmir, Jharkhand, Punjab, Pondicherry, and Uttarakhand have reported one death each.
