New Delhi: On Monday, Arvind Kejriwal, the Chief Minister of Delhi launched a job portal for recruiters and applicants, appealing the traders, industrialists, and people to come together for restoring national capital’s economy.
Kejriwal said, the portal – jobs.delhi.gov.in, will serve as a “Rozgar Bazaar” for the recruiters and job aspirants, remarking that many people have lost their jobs and businesses were affected due the spread of coronavirus pandemic.
“There are people who want jobs and there are traders, businessmen, professionals, contractors who are not getting the right person for their work,” Kejriwal said, at a virtual press release.
“This portal will fill this gap by bringing them together on one platform,” he added.
Gopal Rai, the labor Minister, further said the services at the job portal would be free of cost and applicants need not pay any money for registration.
