Kia teases first images of new generation Sportage SUV

Car and Bike News:South Korean car maker Kia Corporation teased the first images of their upcoming vehicle, new generation Sportage SUV. The upcoming model will be the fifth-generation model of Sportage SUV and will make its global debut first in South Korea by the month of July.

Upcoming Kia Sportage SUV:

The images give us a glimpse of the car with a sloping roof terrain, muscular haunches and an aggressive front with a boomerang curve shaped headlights and a detailed black grilled upfront.

We also get to see some sharp-looking ORVMs, a sleek wraparound taillight with a C-shaped LED signature lights and black inserts that appears to extend across the tailgate, connecting two light units. The rear section of the SUV will also supposedly feature a large roof-mounted spoiler and sculpted tailgate.

For the interior, the images teased by the company gives us a glimpse of a cabin that will be bold, modern and equipped with a lot of tech. The main attraction is the larger Mercedes-Benz-style single unit display, which is a curved unit here. It is likely to come with a split-screen for infotainment and instrumentation as well.

Kia Sportage:

Kia says that its new generation vehicle’s design inspiration is taken from the nature and modern, its latest global design language – Opposites United. Kia claims that the new Sportage will set a benchmark for interior and exterior design segments, connectivity technology inside the car and the mechanics of the overall vehicle.
