Business News: Like the American company Silver Lake, the Carlyle Group can invest around $ 2 billion in Reliance Retail.
Earlier last week, Silver Lake had announced an investment of Rs 7500 crore for a 1.75% stake in Mukesh Ambani’s Reliance Industries subsidiary.
According to media reports, this investment of $ 2 billion in the Indian retail sector may prove to be the biggest investment in this sector. For the time being, negotiations are on between the two companies for investment. However, information regarding the final deal may still take time.
Not only this, according to the report, KKR & Co, Mubadala Investment Company and Abu Dhabi Investment Authority can also invest about $ 5 billion in retail ventures.
Mukesh Ambani’s company Reliance Retail Ventures Ltd has made a tremendous penetration in the retail market in the year 2020.

Currently, Reliance Retail has around 12,000 stores in India.
