Maharashtra Chief Minister , Mr. Uddhav Thackeray announced on Sunday that the crumbing of the construction of Colaba-Bandra-Seepz Metro car shed in Aarey Milk Colony of Mumbai.

The decision was done during an online communication , after the coming days Maha Vikas Aghadi coalition government evacuated the cases against activists and the students , who professed the previous regime’s overnight felling of trees at Aarey milk colony , which is one of the last green space remaining in Mumbai on few weeks before the Assembly elections last October.
The Devendra Fadnavis then a partner in the Shiv Sena led the regime and had backed those who were professing the fonding of the trees, with Aaditya , Thackeray’s son now the state’s Environment Minister, coming out in opposition and made a move.

The Aarey car shed is the bone of contention between the pervious allies. The last year of November 29 was the day after being sworn in as Chief Minister, Thackeray ordered to stop the work and the construction, and relocate it some where else .

Yesterday Sunday , Thackeray discussed about the new site would be at Kanjurmarg. And also said “ The cost of acquiring this land is zero. We will not let the money already spent on the construction at Aarey go to waste, we will use it for some other purpose”.
