This is not the first time that the source of water has been found on Mars. Two years before this, a very salty water lake was found at the southern pole of the planet Mars.

It was discovered by the spacecraft of the European Space Agency, Mars Express in 2018. To confirm the lake, Mars Express Satellite was sent to the area 29 times between 2012 and 2015 and pictures were taken there.

Three more lakes have appeared again this time around the same area, spacecraft were dispatched 134 times between 2012 and 2019 to confirm these three lakes.

Astronomist Alaina Petinelli of the University of Rome reported that, We have discovered three more lakes around the lake discovered two years ago. Extremely scarce and dense patterns of water sources are visible on Mars.

Which we are trying to understand. Earlier research found possible signs of liquid water on the surface of Mars. Further added that, Mars is not a dry and barren planet as previously thought. In certain circumstances water has been found on Mars in a liquid state.

Scientists had been believing for a long time that water used to flow in plenty on the entire red planet. Three billion years ago, due to major changes in the climate, the appearance of Mars changed.

Alan Duffy, assistant professor at Swinburne University in Australia, says that, This is a great achievement, it opens up the possibilities of favorable conditions of life.

Earlier, the US space agency NASA announced that the search robot Curiosity, which landed on Mars in 2012, has found three billion years old organic molecules in the rocks, indicating that there must have been life on this planet at that time.
