World’s biggest OTT giant Netflix will be available for free in India for two days. Streamfest announced that from December 4, Netflix will be available for free for 48 hours in India.
Earlier, Netflix drew it’s one-month free subscription service. But, to attract more customers, the company announced more promotional offers. These promotional offers are called ‘Streamfest’.
This offer is under testing in India. Companies can expand this offer to other countries after seeing the response from India. In the first three month of 2020, they got 2.2 million new customers. Also, last month Netflix had given free access to many shows and movies to users.
When there was a free subscription offer for a month, users had to give payment details to extend subscription period in future.
But, for this offer users do not have to give payment details. Company had already increased the cost of subscription and giving more relevant services.
