New Delhi: New rules have been implemented regarding the delivery of gas cylinder by oil companies. Under the new rule, consumers will get gas cylinder only after the OTP arrives.
The customer must state the OTP before delivery of the cylinder. The consumer will make the cylinder booking, the message of OTP will come on the users mobile number, when the delivery boy comes to deliver the cylinder, he/she will have to tell this OTP, the delivery person will confirm the OTP, whether its correct or not, an then deliver the Cylinder.
Due to the absence of main paper till now, this system is not implemented otherwise it would have been implemented from November itself, Joda phatak Indane Gas Agency
Currently, this new rule will be applicable from December.

The same agencies believe that black gas marketing will be prohibited from getting gas cylinders from OTPs. The gas number will be obtained from the registered mobile number itself.
If the consumer’s number is closed due to some reason, then you may face trouble in Ordering/Delivery of gas, so get your number updated in time.
Dhansar Gas Agency says that gas cylinders are being booked through phone and message. The cylinder is being given only after making messages and phone calls through mobile.
