But just imagine that without the help of ATM card and mobile phone people can withdraw money.
Yes, DCB Bank started this facility in the year 2016 when the bank installed the country’s first Aadhaar based ATM in Mumbai.
Under this system, the bank account holder is identified through his fingerprint, retina scan, etc. Currently DCB Bank is providing fingerprint authentication facility on its ATM machine.
If you too go to the ATM next time and forget to take the card, then there is no need to worry. Aadhaar based authentication facility is available in private sector development credit bank in India, with the help of which a bank customer can withdraw money from ATM card.
However, for this facility, the customer’s account must be linked to the Aadhaar Card. The customer of DCB Bank will not need to carry the card to the ATM machine. The account holder will be identified only with his/her fingerprint.
