A case of Fraud is filled against the YouTube Influencer , Gaurav Wasan by the owner of ‘Baba ka Dhaba’ Mr. Kanta Prasad. The Delhi police is also probing the expropriation of donation funds for the Malviya Nagar based amateur eatery.
The 80 years old , Kanta Prasad got fame on social media after one of his video got viral , which shows that the pain and tear in his eyes since Lockdown.
The pain of Mr Prasad came into limelight when Gaurav Wasan who runs a food page name ‘SWAD Official’ , had shot a video and posted on YouTube and other social media accounts in which the stall owner spoke about the struggles and his painful conditions.

And as soon as the struggling video went viral around hundreds of individuals gathered at the Baba ka Dhaba and started talking pictures with the old couple and helped them financially during the pandemic period.
The DCP , Atul Thakur said that “We have received a complaint and are investigating the matter. We will register an FIR after preliminary inquiry and only if the allegations are found true”.
The Baba ka dhaba owner complained that Gaurav Wasan who shot their struggling video and posted it on online media and asked the mass on the online media for the donation of money to the eatery owner.
The influencer who had posted the Baba ka Dhaba video in online media of the old couple running a small stall like dhaba in Malviya Nagar, has also shared his mini statement after the mass indicted him of digital scam.For that he wrote “Transparency link verified by bank. Anybody who donated can go and verify and re-verify. Thank you for supporting”.
