“The decision will be informed to the court on Tuesday and an official notification will accordingly be issued as per directions of the top court,” a senior CBSE official said.
A week before, on the notification for conducting remaining Class 10th and 12th exams from July 1 to 15, a group of parents demanded the board to cancel the exams and grant internal marks to the students, stating that the students could be exposed to COVID – 19 in a plea. Hearing the plea, the board informed the court that it will take a decision “very shortly”.
A similar request has been made by the Maharashtra, Delhi and Odisha state governments to the HRD Ministry.
