New Delhi: Price of Diesel has transcend the price of petrol in the national capital as the oil companies have raised the fuel rates for the 19th day, on Thursday.
Petrol and Diesel prices have marked a spike of 16 Paisa and 14 Paisa respectively. However, Diesel is costlier in the national capital Delhi, due to the rise of local sales tax by the state government.
According to a notification released by the state oil marketing companies: Delhi: Petrol Prices – Rs.79.92 per Litre / Diesel – Rs. 80.02 per Litre Chennai: Petrol Prices – Rs. 83.18 per Litre / Diesel – Rs. 77.29 per Litre Hyderabad: Petrol Prices – Rs. 82.96 per Litre / Diesel – Rs. 78.19 per Litre
Depending upon the state Value Added Tax (VAT), the rate of fuel differs from state to state.
In 19 days, Diesel has marked a spike of RS. 10.63 per Litre. While Petrol price has risen up to Rs 8.66 a Litre.
