Pune News : Pune city will experience the water cut out on November 2nd due to the repair work in pumping stations across the city. The water supply will restore in the city from 3rd of November.

The Pumping stations which will go under repairs are Parvati water works, Raw water pumping, Cantonment water works, SNDT, Warje pumping centre, Navin Holkar pumping station and Chikhli pumping station.

Many Parts in Pune city will experience this Water Cut Out. The places are Dattawadi, Rajendra Nagar, Lokmanya Nagar, Deccan, Shivajinagar, Swargate, Parvati Darshan, Mukundnagar, Parvatigaon, Sahakarnagar, Satararoad, Padmavati, Katraj, Dhankawadi, Karve Road, Erandwane, Kothrud, Pashan, Aundh, Bopodi, Khadki, Baner, Bavdhan, Warje, Sus and Sutarwadi. The Pune cantonment area, Pune station, Koregaon park, Wanaworie, Kondhwa, Hadapsar, Mundhwa, Yerawada, Nagarroad, Kharadi, Lohegaon, Tingrenagar, Kalas, Dhanori and Vishrantwadi.

Water Supply Department is one of the major and important departments of Pune Municipal Corporation. This department is formed as per Maharashtra Municipal Corporation act of 1949. The Water Supply Department provide adequate and safe water for drinking, cooking and other basic needs.
