Pune News: PMC (Pune Municipal Corporation) allowed Hotels, Restaurants and Bars to remain open till 11.30pm.

Vikram Kumar, PMC Commissioner issued an order on 24th October 2020 mentioning that the Bars, hotels, restaurants will be allowed to open from 8 am to 11.30 pm.
The establishments have to follow all the safety guidelines related to the prevention of Coronavirus pandemic (COVID19).They will be allowed to operate with the only 50% seating capacity for all the customers.

Ganesh Shetty, President, Pune Restaurant’s and Hotelier Association (PRAHA), welcomed the decision and said, “We thank Deputy Chief Minister & Pune Guardian Minister Ajit Pawar, PMC Commissioner Vikram Kumar, Pune Mayor Murlidhar Mohol and MLA Siddharth Shirole for supporting the hospitality industry and giving an extension of restaurant operating timings till 11:30 pm.”
And also added that, “This is a boon for our industry and will help us in recovering from the losses incurred during the lockdown.”
