Responding to which team will win in the Test series between India and Australia, he said that, Team India has a good possibility to retain the Border-Gavaskar Trophy. He said that Team India will face a tough challenge in this series, but India is ready for it. Sachin said that if Virat is not part of the three Test matches then it will have an impact, but it will give other players a chance.

Sachin said that Pujara’s presence in the Test team will be important for the Indian team. He said, I will keep Pujara with Virat. These two have played together for the longest time. Although Rahane is also, but like Virat and Pujara, he has not got much opportunities in the playing eleven. Regarding the opener, he said, I feel that Mayank Agarwal will definitely get a chance.

He said that Mayank Agarwal is definitely going to play as he is playing big innings. After this he said that if Rohit is there then would be the second opener, but in his absence, who will get a chance between KL Rahul and Prithvi Shaw, the decision will be made by the team management. They will give him a chance which will be in more good form.

The four-match Test series between India and Australia will be held from December 17th and the first test match will be played day-night.
