New Delhi: On Friday i.e. today, the Supreme Court has rejected the petition to remove Uddhav Thackeray as the Chief Minister of Maharashtra and impose President’s rule in the state.

Commenting on the petition, the Chief Justice said that the death of an actor does not mean that the law and order in the state has failed and the example given is from Mumbai.
CJI SA Bobde told the petitioner that do not come here, demand it from the President, as a citizen you are free to contact the President.

The Supreme Court has refused to hear the petition demanding imposition of President’s rule in Maharashtra and at the same time the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court said that if such a demand is to be made, go to the President.
In the petition, it was said that the state machinery in Maharashtra has failed. The party is working to save the criminals.
The petition also mentions the death of Sushant Singh Rajput, threatening Kangana Ranaut and the demolition of Kangana Ranaut’s house and a fatal attack by Shiv Sena’s on a former naval officer.
