The Union Health Ministry has started the preparation for Coronavirus vaccination. This vaccination will be done in 633 districts.

There have been many discussions in these districts regarding vaccination. For which 23 Ministry Departments have got various responsibilities.
On Tuesday, Union Health Secretary Rajesh Bhushan said that modules for vaccination have been prepared and training is being done. It involves vaccinator training, training for cold chain maintenance and ASHA workers for training.

He further said that all the vaccination centers have been affiliated with hospitals to provide immediate medical help in the event of any possible side effects after vaccination.
The Health Secretary said that some people may have three types of side effects after giving the vaccine, which may require taking them to the hospital in case of serious side effects. While mild and moderate side effects will be treated in the center itself.
Each center is associated with a hospital. Also, such cases will also be registered on the Co-Win portal. He said that where vaccination has been introduced in the UK, there have been cases of side effects since day one.

Bhushan said that guidelines have also been issued regarding the management of cold chains. 29 thousand cold chain points, 240 walk-in coolers, 70 walk-in freezers, 45 thousand ice link refrigerators, 41 thousand deep freezers and 300 solar refrigerators will be used.
Bhushan also said that the army and paramilitary forces will be given vaccines in the district where they are posted. Vaccination booths will be set up in their units.
