The UP police is accused of the victim’s house, even after lakhs of pleas, the policemen forcibly locked them in the house and cremated the dead body at 2:30 in the night without their consent.

On all these matters, the shocking statement of the victim’s brother has came out, the brother said that the district administration has forcefully cremated the dead body. Family members had no consent in this.

The girl’s brother has even said that the funeral that has taken place we are not sure that it was our sister or not, we don’t even know. They did not take any of our opinion, they did this on their free will. We are scared The police pressured us to take Didi’s body for the last rites.

We wanted to do the last rites in the morning, but the police were very quick and they were pressurizing us to get the funeral done as soon as possible. Police said that the victim has been dead for 24 hours and the body is deteriorating. We wanted to do the funeral in the morning so that our other relatives would also reach there.

Brother further said that we demand from the state government that the matter should be investigated and the culprits should be hanged.

We also want security for ourselves. The administration is putting a lot of pressure on us. We do not trust the local police, there should be a judicial inquiry into the matter. The District Magistrate (Dm) of Hathras says that in this whole case, It is wrong to allege that the funeral took place without the consent of the family.

On the other hand, SDM Sadar Prem Prakash Meena says that the last rites have been performed on the basis of consent of family members with full custom.

The father and brother had agreed to perform the last rites at night. Family members were also present at the funeral. The car that brought the victim’s body was in the village from 12.45 pm to 2.30 pm.
