On Monday, Sundar Pichai, the CEO of Google declared that Google would invest about $10 billion for the next 5 to 7 years in India, as it seeks to help the Country with its digital growth. It would be carried forward through equity investments, partnerships, operational, infrastructure and ecosystem investments. “We’re proud to support PM @narendramodi’s vision for Digital India,” Pichai said. 2.] CBSE declares class 12 results, overall result amounts to 88.78%

On Monday, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has declared the results of class 12 board exams 2020. The overall result this year amounts to 88.78 percent, compared to the previous year result amounting 83.40 percent. Trivandrum and Bengaluru have scored the highest result amounting to 97.67 and 97.05 percent respectively. (ANI)

4.] Mexico reports to be the fourth highest death poll of the world

On Monday, Mexico recorded around 35,000 deaths due to coronavirus infection, making it the fourth highest fatality poll of the world, shows the Johns Hopkins University tracker. Mexico has reported about 3 lakh cases, the seventh highest no. of cases around the world. The US, Brazil and UK are the first three highest fatality poll of the world.

Divyanshi Jain from Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh has secured 100% result by scoring 600 marks out of 600 in the CBSE Class 12 results declared, on Monday. The 18 year old, studying in Navyug Radiance School, Lucknow, scored 100 marks each in English, Sanskrit, History, Geography, Insurance and Economics. However, she could not appear for the Geography exam, which was cancelled due to the coronavirus.

6.] Gujarat: Lady Constable transferred due to argument with Minister’s son

Due to an argument with Prakash Kanani, son of Minister of state for Health and BJP leader Kishor Kanani, Sunita Yadav, a woman police constable posted in Varachha was transferred to the police headquarters. Yadav had stopped Prakash’s friends for violating the lockdown rules. She had an argument with Prakash after he arrived at the scene as his friends called him.

Filmmaker Apurva Asrani criticized the Times group of India’s Hindi edition Navbharat times that asserted late actor Sushant Singh Rajput to be admitted for suffering from Paranoia and bipolar disorder. “Whatever the truth, I see a sustained PR drive to influence public perception and to paint Sushant as unstable,” Apurva tweeted. A picture of a couple, wearing a spacesuit at a beach in Brazil to protect themselves from COVID – 19, goes viral on social media. The man in the picture made a note stating how viruses attack could be life threatening for him as he is already suffering from a lung disease. “By protecting myself, I am protecting others”, he said. Over 75% of police force will be on duty across Pune city and Pimpri Chinchwad due to the lockdown from 1 am on July 14, said police officials, on Monday. “The 10 day lockdown will focus on movement restriction through checkpoints and enforcement of distancing norms by mobile teams,” said Ravindra Shisve, Joint Commissioner of Police, Pune, adding personnel are being given safety gear and utilities.
