On Sunday, elections were held on 24 seats of the Legislative Assembly in Ghulam Kashmir. In this, Imran Khan’s government was rigged in which the ballot box was stolen and captured the polling booth. Due to this, the opposition parties and people protested.
Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said that Imran Khan’s government had stolen the mandate. PSM-N vice-president Maryam Nawaz also said that the government has forcibly taken possession in the demonstration.
Human rights activist Amjad Ayub Mirza called the assembly elections a big scam. On Monday, thousands of people took to the streets in areas like Gilgit due to vote rigging in the elections. Vehicle tires were set on fire in those areas.
