New York: In the view of the ground breaking ceremony for the construction of the auspicious Ram Temple in Ayodhya, images of Lord Ram and 3D portraits of Ram Temple will be broadcasted on giant billboards in Times Square, New York, on August 5.
Jagdish Sewhani, a prominent community leader and the president of the American India Public Affair Committee, on Wednesday, said that necessary arrangements are being made in New York to celebrate the remarkable development of Ram Temple in Ayodhya, on August 5.

The two most prominent billboards of New York, the giant Nasdaq screen and the 17,000 sq. Foot wrap – around LED display screen, are being leased to celebrate the auspicious occasion, Mr. Sewhani said, adding that Indian community members will gather at Times Square to mark the celebration and distribute sweets.
Images of the words ‘Jai Shri Ram’ in Hindi and English, Lord Ram’s portraits and videos, 3D portraits of the temple’s design, and pictures of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, laying the foundation stone will be displayed from 8 am in the morning to 10 pm in the evening, across several billboards that are popular features of Times Square, one of the most popular tourist destinations in the world, he added.

“This is not a once-in-a-lifetime or a once-in-a-century event. This is an event that comes once in the life of mankind. We had to give it a befitting celebration and what better place than the iconic Times Square to commemorate the ‘Ram Janma Bhoomi shilanyas“ (groundbreaking ceremony), Mr Sewhani said.
