Washington: The US president Donald Trump on Wednesday slammed back at predecessor Barack Obama for branding him as ineffective and terrible President of USA. He accused Obama was an ineffective and terrible leader.
“President Obama did not do a good job. I see the horror that he’s left us, the stupidity of the transactions that he made,” Trump said.
Earlier on Wednesday the former President of US Barack Obama eviscerated his successor like no one ever did before. While addressing his Democratic Convention, Obama said that Donald Trump never took his Presidency seriously.
Obama said in 2017 while handing over the White House to Trump, he had the thought as a Republican Trump might show some interest in taking the job seriously.
“I did hope, for the sake of our country, that Donald Trump might show some interest in taking the job seriously… But he never did,” Obama said, according to excerpts of his speech released early.—AFP
