One spokesperson of Twitter said that it was always clear that they will take strong enforcement action against those whose behavior has the potential to cause physical harm to somebody. Her account has been permanently suspended on accounts of violating regulations on Twitter hate speech policy and abusive behavior policy.

Although, this is not the first time that the actress has been penalized for her online behavior. Earlier this year, with regards to the Amazon Prime Video Tandav’s controversy that actress opined that it is time to take the ‘heads off’ of the creators of the series, for hurting religious sentiments.

A spokesperson of Twitter, in an interaction with NDTV told that Kangana Ranaut had violated Twitter’s Abusive Behavior Policy by propagating hate speech that targets to harass someone and motivating others as well to do so. He said that Twitter bans any posts that expresses or intends to harm any individual or any group of people.

On such cases, Twitter first puts the account in read-only mode where their followers cannot share or like the post, to keep it contained. After suspending the account, Kangana Ranaut immediately written in a tweet that her account and her virtual identity may get martyred for the country anytime, tagging along Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey in retaliation.
