Ram Vilas Paswan, Union minister of consumer affairs, food and public distribution passed away at a age of 74.

Ram vilas Paswan recently underwent heart surgery in Delhi Hospital. His son Chirag Paswan gave the news of his father’s dismiss.
He was born on 5 July, 1946 at a village near Khagaria in the eastern region of Bihar. Ram Vilas Paswan was one of the country’s most noted Dalit leaders.
Chirag Paswan tweeted, “Papa …. Now you are not in this world but I know you are always with me wherever you are. Miss you Papa …”
Chirag Paswan is an Indian politician and President of Lok Janshakti Party.
According to the reports, He was suffering from a heart condition.
Paswan became a member of Bihar Legislative Assembly in 1969. Ram vilas Paswan entered the Lok Sabha in 1977, as a Janata Party member from Hajipur constituency, then he was later chosen again 1980, 1989, 1996 and 1998, 1999, 2004, and 2014.
Ram Vilas Paswan has served as a Union Minister under five Prime Ministers.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi tweeted on the demise of Ram Vilas Paswan, he said, “I am saddened beyond words. There is a void in our nation that will perhaps never be filled. Shri Ram Vilas Paswan Ji’s demise is a personal loss. I have lost a friend, valued colleague and someone who was extremely passionate to ensure every poor person leads a life of dignity.”
