World News: United States of America President Donald Trump and the first lady Melania Trump have tested Positive for Coronavirus today.
The President gave the news through his twitter handle he wrote, “Tonight, @FLOTUS and I tested positive for COVID-19. We will begin our quarantine and recovery process immediately. We will get through this TOGETHER!”
On the same hand Melania Trump tweeted, “As too many Americans have done this year, @potus & I are quarantining at home after testing positive for COVID-19. We are feeling good & I have postponed all upcoming engagements. Please be sure you are staying safe & we will all get through this together.”
“They are both well at this time and they plan to remain home at the White House during their convalescence,” doctor Sean Conley said in a statement.
“I expect the president to continue carrying out his duties without disruption while recovering.” Further continued.
President Donald Trump is “well” and will continue to perform his duties “without disruption” while quarantining along with the first lady, after both tested positive for the coronavirus, the president’s physician said.
He confirmed in an interview with Fox News that Hope Hicks, one of his closest confidantes, had tested positive.
Hicks was traveling with Trump on Air Force One just this Tuesday to fly to Cleveland for the first Presidential debate with Democrat Joe Biden.
“The White House medical team and I will maintain a vigilant watch, and I appreciate the support provided by some of our country’s greatest medical professionals and institutions. Rest assured I expect the President to continue carrying out his duties without disruption while recovering, and I will keep you updated on any future developments,” Conley added.
