WhatsApp’s vacation mode feature was been rumors for the past years. Recently it was reported that the feature will be available for Android users very soon. Although its not fixed that when the Vacation Mode feature will be available on Whatsapp.
The Vacation mode feature might help users keep a permanent record of their chats while keeping it hidden from the most chatting list. at the present , WhatsApp pushes the archived chats to rock bottom . However, whenever a replacement message arrives within the archived chat, it pops back on the highest . This defeats the aim of archiving the chat within the first place. Vacation Mode seeks to vary by keeping the archived chats hidden.
As mentioned by WABeta info website, once the feature rolls out, it will have a dedicated section that will be present on the top of the chat window. From that section, the users will be able to see their archived chats along with a Notification button. This notification button will enable users to customize the section as per their requirements.
