Mumbai News: On Sunday night, Bhandup police had arrested a well-known YouTuber as the family of the deceased had filed a complaint alleging his involvement in the suspicious death of his wife.

The deceased, Komal Agarwal was found dead at the home where she lived with her husband. Though the police registered the death as an accidental at first, a complaint was filed by Komal’s mother and sister on charges of abetment to suicide, culpable homicide and criminal intimidation under IPC 323, 306 and 506 on Jitendra.
Komal had allegedly eloped with her husband Jeetendra back on March after knowing each other for some two months, affecting Komal’s family badly. Komal’s mother told the police that she was assaulted by Jeetendra over some issues at home, resulting in her death.

As the relationship between the two got bitter, Komal got back in touch with her sister complaining about her physical abuse by Jeetendra. And, the accused had allegedly told Komal to stop calling her sister Priya after finding out that she complained to her about the physical abuse.
Agarwal allegedly complained of assault on three instances to her sister and her friend Meena and she once even left the house. Komal’s sister told the police that if Jitendra can physically abuse Komal so many times, it is not difficult to for him to have her killed as well.
Pathak said that they learnt about the demise of their daughter on May 27th after Bhandup police informed them of Agarwal hanging herself to death. The family then approached the police saying they suspect Jitendra of abetment to suicide.

Sham Shinde, senior inspector, Bhandup police station said that they have arrested Jitendra and are investigating the case and they are waiting for the post-mortem report to find out whether she was killed and then hanged or was forced to hang herself.
