In 2005, a four-year-old Zoe Roth ran out in her neighborhood along with her father to take a look at the fire accident that happened to burn down a whole house. Her father who happened to have a camera in his hand, took a shot of the burning house with Zoe smirking in the picture. Little did anyone knew that it would become the most recognizable faces in the world.
The picture was identified on the internet in 2008. According to New York Times report on the fire break incident, it was a controlled one, no lives lost and was not serious as some children were even allowed to assist the fire fighters while fighting the fire.
In November 2020, in an interview with Buzzfeed Video YouTube channel she recalled what happened that day. She clarified that the house that was burning, was actually donated to the local fire department by the actual owners themselves so they could train to put out actual fires.
Luckily, the house was just a crash dummy.
